GRADING

The date for grading is still unconfirmed but will take place in May.

You will be informed in the current weeks if you are eligible to take part

in the grading, remember you need to have been to at least 20 lessons since

your last grading, and showing your desire to progress in every lesson through

the way you conduct yourself.

CLASS CLOSURES

Unfortunately due to the GC being used as a venue for the local elections this evening and the Bank Holiday

on Monday there will be no classes on these two days. The next class will be sparring on Tuesday 8th May, from

which point classes return to normal.

IN HOUSE COMPETITION

Sunday 22nd April saw our 2nd In House Competiiton run at the club.

It was a fantastic attendance and great to see a lot of spectators, and first time fighters too.

There were opportunities for semi contact, and patterns again, and for the first time

light continuous was also introduced.

Isaac, Myles, Brandon, Ben, Jenny, Whitney, Lewis H, Jamie, Alex, and Darren all competed

within semi contact with some excellent fights and performances.

Lewis G, Brandon, Jenny, Whitney, Darren and Alex then also participated in the patterns category.

Finally, Jamie, Alex, Lewis H, Whitney, Jenny, and Myles all took part in light continuous as well.

Overall it was a fantastic day, with some brilliant fights, and inspiring performances from all. You

should all be as proud of yourselves as I am of you.
